Lisbon, Portugal workshop mapping by Ilan katin

In the week following the installation of PASSAGES at Monstra Festival I will be conducting a video mapping workshop in the same city. This is my first workshop since my departure from GarageCUBE so I am rather excited in that the workshop will be focused more on techniques and technicalities that will not be bound to any particular software package. In other words, I will encourage people to choose the tool they want to work with and then assist them in learning how to use it in conjunction with teaching techniques and best practices.
So if people have a Windows based computer and want to use Resolume Ave, or they have a Mac OS X based computer and want to use Millumin, any of these choices are OK. The important thing for me is that they gain experience in the technique and develop an eye for how one can utilize this technique in order to communicate their ideas.
