Call for entries

The competition named "TUTTO SCORRE INTORNO A NOI" ("Everything flows around us"), is called to select 5 A/V live performances projects lasting between 35 and 50 minutes. The inspiring theme is "Everything flows"!
The performances will be submitted during the two-days event taking place in July 2007 at the PANTA REI Club in Capri (Italy) and they will be played at the lounge bar during the happy hour and in the early evening.
The A/V projects shall respect the environment and the atmosphere of the club, hence they are asked to include easy listening music.
The jury appointed by the stage management will evaluate live performances in order to designate the winner.

– Rules –

The artist or the crew must send the following material in a sealed envelope to “PANTA REI Capri – Via Lo Palazzo, 1 – CAP 80073 – Capri (NA) – ITALY”:

a. A picture, personal data (name, surname, residence address, date and place of birth), telephone number and e-mail address of any component of the crew, adding the web site url, if any.

b. A CD or DVD (PAL format, 25 frames/sec.) containing the A/V project to be submitted to the selection.

c. A short CV with a brief description about your own way to conceive the vjing.

d. Detailed technical requirements/specification.

e. A project for the arrangement of the screening scene, including a drawing and/or a render with relevant detailed explication, is highly welcomed and recommended. The building plan and the photos of the areas of PANTA REI are enclosed herewith. Concerning the selected projects, said proposals will be discussed with the stage management of the club in order to find satisfactory solutions.

– Terms and conditions for the delivery –

a. No fees are required for the participation.

b. Projects bound by copyright or any other contract will not be accepted.

c. Projects arrived after the fixed dead line (May 25th, 2007), and/or without all the required information will not be accepted.

d. The material received will not be returned.

e. The organization of the competition will confirm the receipt of any project by sending an e-mail to the provided addresses.

f. If selected, the club will send via e-mail the relevant participation form together with the discharge declaration (“liberatoria”), which entitles PANTA REI to use those A/V for promotional purposes of the Club. Both the form shall be duly filled, signed and sent to PANTA REI in a sealed envelope within June 1st, 2007.

g. PANTA REI will provide the selected performers with hospitality in Capri during the event.

h. The Club will offer €200 to each crew to cover their trip expenses.

i. Each selected 5 crew will be invited by the Club for a further live exhibition within 1 year from the event.

j. The winner will be awarded with €1,000 money prize plus a trophy marked PANTA REI.
