We are master students in Barcelona and we need your help for our final thesis!
The company we are working with created a product for light designers to create interactive light shows.
The product consists of a software and hardware solution. It works as a converter of the visual design from a digital environment to physical environment though LEDs compatible with Syphon to combine LEDs with video mapping to represent movement, music or various measurable data (heartbeat, temperature etc.). It is also compatible with different accessories such as muscle movement sense bracelet, kinect sensor camera or different type of data collecting applications.
The hardware allows to convert any LED strip in an interactive lightning surface, via wired and wireless network protocols, with seamless access to broad type of sensors and can manipulate each lighting fixture individually without any number of LED restrictions, while the software solution accounts for embedded, versatile and real time interaction design and content creation. The software solution is available for desktop and mobile application versions, and can be combıned at basic level with other hardware products.
The outstanding features of the product are user friendlıness, compatibility with various products (e.g. Module8) and level of interactivity.
