Vision’R / Arte / Codanova VJ Contest

In order to enlarge audience and visibility of VJing throughout various
media and cultural landscapes, Vision’r has entered a partnership with Arte
channel in an exchange of active visual content.

Teasers, animated shorts and a video tutorial on how to navigate through

Using these and your own content, provide a 10 minutes demo either on music you created (or friend) or on Creative Commons or copyleft material.

3 of you will be invited to perform a 45 minutes live set at Vision’R on
Saturday evening, April 19th, 2008 (journey and 2 nights accomodation
provided by the festival).

Moreover, in partnership with Codanova and Arte, 1 VMX VJ MIDI controler will be granted to the performer among the 3 who shows the most interesting / artistic usage of the provided content, in a VJing approach, to give them a new hybrid life during the live mix.

Deadline : demos entering the contest must be received before midnight on
Monday, March 24th, 2008.

– Tournoi Vision’R / Arte / Codanova 2008 –

Afin d’élargir les répercussions du VJing en confirmant sa reconnaissance dans la sphère médiatique culturelle, nous avons ouvert une coopération avec Arte sur un échange de contenus actifs.

Téléchargez ces vidéos pour ensuite faire une démo de 10 mn en les mixant avec vos images sur une musique originale, en creative commons, ou libre de droits.

3 finalistes seront invités à mixer 45 minutes lors de Vision’R le samedi 19 Avril 08 au soir (transports et hébergement 2 nuits pris en charge).

De plus, à partir des performances effectuées à Vision’R, en association avec Codanova, nous attribuerons un contrôleur MIDI VMX VJ comme prix Vision’R / Arte / Codanova au mix qui saura le mieux tirer artistiquement partie des vidéos mises à disposition en les agençant sur un mode VJ pour leur conférer live une nouvelle vie hybride.
